Basing on results of the tested project “Extending time and content of the programme of visiting the Hội An Ancient town in the evening”, the Hội An city People’s Committee has launched the open tickets (both daytime tikets and evening tickets) for visiting the Hội An Ancient town. Accordingly, tourists (domestic and international) can choose any interesting places introduced in tickets for their visits.
   The new ticket system is supposed to distribute equally the profit to all interesting places in the programme of visiting the Hội An Ancient town, said the Hội An Centre for Culture and Sports.
   The Hội An Office of Tourist Services (Hội An Centre for Culture and Sports) launched the open 24 hour valid tickets of visiting the Hội An Ancient town for tourists (domestic and international) on the 1^st of April, 2010.
   Tourists can visit:
- All streets in the Hội An Ancient town, street shows, folkgames, night market.
- 5 of 18 places (for international tourists), and 4 of 18 places (for domestic tourists), as follows:
     + Japanese Bridge
     + Museums of History & Culture, Trade Ceramics, Sa Huỳnh Culture, Folk culture.
     + Old houses: Quân Thắng, Đức An, Phùng Hưng, Tấn Ký, Trần Family Chapel.
     + Assembly Halls: Triều Châu, Quảng Đông, Phúc Kiến.
     + Hội An Handicraft Workshop and Traditional Concert (10:15, 15:15, 19:30); XQ Hội An Embroidery Gallery.
     + Cẩm Phô Communal house, Minh Hương Communal house of Tụy Tiên Đường and Quan Công Temple.
    The Hội An city People’s Committee is always looking forward to close cooperation by tourist companies in the efforts of preserving and developing the values of the Hội An Ancient town, World Cultural Heritage.

  The Life Quality

   TTVHTT-The peaceful life and calm environment in the Hoi An old town may be one of the important and necessary conditions for people to last their lives out
   The statistics by Hoi An Department of Health Care says the over 60 year-old people in two sub-wards of An Dinh and An Thai (Minh An ward - inside the Old town) account for 14.85 % over their population (569 over 3,831 people). This percentage is quite high if it is compared with equivalent indicators in whole Minh An ward and in whole three urban wards of Minh An, Cam Pho, Son Phong – 12.72 % (1,026 / 8,067 people) and 12.55 % (2,755 / 21,945 people), respectively. Meanwhile, the percentage of over 60 year-old people in whole Hoi An city is just 10.75 %, with 9,352 / 86,927 people
  The above analysis in Hoi An indicates that calm residential areas, environment of non-pollution of noise, dust and smoke … can make the longevity increase.
   Therefore, we can affirm 0that the policy of making Hoi An old town non-motorcycled by the local authority will make an important contribution in enhancing the life quality especially the longevity for the local people.
